XU Xiaozhou, dean of Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences, recently paid a visit to New York upon the invitation of UN, Fordham University, Pace University and SBCAA for academic and cultural cooperation between U.S and China.

The 2018 UN Chinese Language Day was celebrated on April 20. Professor XU was invited to give a speech titled “Achievements, Challenges and Prospects of Chinese Higher Education” at the Forum of Chinese Education and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. After the interview with Sino Vision, Professor XU discussed with Fordham University on the Children-Family-School-Community cooperation program and the corresponding Sino-American comparative studies.


According to Professor XU, the integrated quality of Chinese higher education is developing on the fast lane with the largest enrollment size and the ever-growing international impact. In the future, the highlight for developing Chinese higher education is to cultivate high-quality and innovative intellectuals for the sustainable development of the global community in terms of education, technology and economy.
