Four ZJU foreign experts honored with the West Lake Friendship Award

The 2018 ceremony of the Zhejiang Government West Lake Friendship Award was held in Hangzhou on the afternoon of Oct. 30. Four foreign experts at Zhejiang University received this honorable award. They were Philip Theodore Krein, executive dean of the ZJU-UIUC Institute, Therese Hesketh, vice director of the Center for Global Health in the School of Medicine, Frank Steglich, director of the Center for Correlated Matter and Imran Haider Shamsi, an associate professor in the College of Agriculture and Biotechnology. Philip Theodore Krein delivered a speech at the ceremony in which he shared with the audience his rewarding work and happy life in China.
