Two ZJU professors honored with the 2018 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize
The award presentation ceremony for the 2018 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize was held in Beijing on Nov. 6. A total of 56 eminent scholars in scientific fields were awarded the 2018 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Science and Technology.
Prof. WANG Jian’an from the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of the Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Prof. GAO Xiang from the College of Energy Engineering won the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation respectively.
The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation (HLHL) was founded in 1994 with the generous support by the S.H. Ho Foundation Limited, Dr. Leung Kau-kui, Dr. Ho Tim, and Wei Lun Foundation Limited in Hong Kong. The foundation annually bestows prizes upon distinguished Chinese scholars in scientific fields. Over 1250 scholars have been recognized for this prize in the past 23 years.
