Founded in 1811, Massachusetts General Hospital is part of Mass General Brigham — a globally renowned academic medical system — and serves as a teaching hospital for Harvard University. It ranks among the top in the United States. In October 2023, REN Shaobo led a delegation to visit Massachusetts General Hospital, where he met with the then Executive Vice President Professor del Carmen and witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Mass General Brigham.
