On September 10, a delegation from the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), led by Secretary-General JIANG Hui, visited Zhejiang University to strengthen academic and research ties.

The delegation was warmly received by FU Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang University Council, along with representatives from the Office of Global Engagement, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the International College, and the Institute for Advanced Technology attended the meeting.
During the meeting, FU Qiang highlighted Zhejiang University’s recent progress in disciplinary development and global engagement. He noted the shared commitment between Zhejiang University and APSCO to advancing sustainable and inclusive development. Since establishing their partnership in 2023, the two sides have steadily deepened collaboration in scientific research, innovation, and talent cultivation. FU Qiang expressed his hope to further strengthen ties with APSCO to generate high-quality outcomes in the field of aeronautics and astronautics, and encouraged outstanding stu取消dents from APSCO member states to study at Zhejiang University.
JIANG Hui praised Zhejiang University’s achievements and outlined APSCO’s current strategic priorities. She emphasized APSCO’s strong track record of partnering with academic institutions and its rich experience in education and training. She hoped that this visit would serve as a springboard for new collaborative intiatives, leveraging APSCO’s multilateral platform to elevate the aeronautics and astronautics sector across the Asia-Pacific region to new heights.
